Wet West Virginia

Here I am in West Virginia and it is still wet. My stomach was growling so I pulled off the road to this joint! Wow. Like a place out of my childhood when my dad would pack us all on the AmTrack to visit Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Spears our in the sticks.

Ordered the Big Lumpy. Eggs, ham, sausage patty, cheese, and mayo on a hamburger bun…

Not bad for $4.21.

Had to stop because of the rain and the Big Lumpy, mentioned above, caused a wicked need to dump out. This is in West Union. These little towns are tucked into every nook and cranny.

I shoulda talked to you earlier. I have no idea where the cousins live. It’s been decades since I’ve seen them. I’m currently in Bruceton Mills, getting out of the rain. If they’re between here and New York, I’d love to see them.
