Tracking Down Gear

Finally Reno has a summer day and it’s a doozy. 83 degrees. After months of rain, snow, occasional sun, high winds, mother nature gives us this blast of summery goodness.

Went to Scheels to see about a tent and a sleeping bag. Good lord, things have changed since my Boy Scout days in the 80’s. Everything is titanium, silicone, polyester microfiber, etc. So overwhelming. Even the camp stove has had a face lift. It’s a tiny three legged screw on burner you attach to a miniature propane tank. Crazy. I only managed to get a sleeping bag.

Thanks for stopping by the store – things have certainly changed in the camping world. Definitely talk to a Scheels Expert if you have any questions about how to outfit yourself for an adventure.
